Brits love ketchup.
From smothering it on chips to chicken nuggets to even putting it in a sandwich - people tuck into the sauce in all type of ways. But many of us have been opening bottles wrong for years.
While opening a fresh bottle is always satisfying, one element of the process is usually tricky. Most bottles contain a seal under the lid to ensure the sauce stays fresh, and it can be tough to remove.
The little sticker is hard to get your fingernails under, can be tough to budge and sees people often reaching for knives and scissors to try and pry it open.
Little you may know, all that effort has been wasted, as there's a much simpler way to open the bottle. This is going to blow your mind.

Social media user lalifehacks often shares handy hints on , and her latest has left people gobsmacked. In a recent clip, she said a lot of people "definitely don't know" about the simple trick.
In the clip you see her unscrewing the lid of the bottle, and then using the hole in the lid to pierce the seal. This then makes a hole in the seal to enable sauce to be released from the bottle.
When she squeezes the bottle, the sauce then comes out easily, with no issues at all. That's right, we've struggled tearing the seal off for years for no apparent reason.
She also shows people how to re-use the bottle as a handy pancake mix dispenser. After filling up a clean bottle with the mixture, she uses it to squeeze perfect pancake portions into a frying pan.
The video has been viewed more than 14,000 times since it was shared – and hundreds of people commented too. Not everyone was convinced by the theory though.
One person said: "Cool, I'll definitely remember this." Another wrote: "Been doing this for years." A third also replied: "TikTok is better than going to university."
Not everyone was impressed though, as one wrote: "If you were supposed to do that, they wouldn't put an easy to pull flap on it." And one more chimed in with: "Or you could just take the paper."
